This first playlist includes 200 songs from the 1960's. We will be working next on playlists from other decades. Some of our favorites have not been included because they were not available for use (copyright, etc.).
When you arrive on this page, music will automatically start from the first playlist and selections will play in a random fashion. You may scroll down the list and listen to your own selections. If you want to listen to the Fifties playlist, please click on the "pause" button on the first playlist before starting so that you will not have both players going at the same time.
To keep the music playing after you leave this page, click on the play button in the corner of page to pause the music: (II). Then click on Pop-Out Player below the playlist. This will open a new window for the playlist. Click the play button again, now an arrow in the new window to start the player. Minimize and return to site.
If there are any songs you would like to be add to the playlist, please let us know and we'll try our best to include them. If you would like to add your playlist to this page, please contact us!

*Although “Back In My Arms Again” was listed as the #1 record of the year by Cash Box, this ranking could not have been based on the record’s weekly chart positions: The Beach Boys’ “Help Me, Rhonda” entered the Top 100 the week before “Arms”; during the next 11 weeks, “Rhonda” held a higher chart position for 10 of those weeks (the only exception being the one week that “Arms” was #1, the week before “Rhonda” moved into the top spot itself); and “Rhonda” remained on the chart for one more week after “Arms” had dropped off. Despite all this, “Rhonda” was listed at only #30 on the year-end chart (which is about right, when compared with the chart runs of the records in nearby positions). Clearly, the #1 ranking for “Arms” was either a major error or was based on criteria other than the record’s weekly chart positions.
