My Dear Friend Donaphine
Farewell my friend you left me.
It was time for you to go
Your friendship was a blessing
And I've loved you from head to toe.
We shared so many secrets
You brightened up my days
You brought me so much happiness
With your kind and loving ways
You lifted up my spirits
When I was feeling blue
No matter what was happening
You knew just what to do.
We ran up & down the court, yes, basketball was our game.
You lovingly called me the ball hog name.
You wouldn't shoot for fear of a block,
So you always threw to the yours truly jock.
Living together in Raleigh was a treat,
Remember Ms Hardee never missed a beat.
She thought I was sugar and spice,
And everything nice.
You said she didn't like you
Cause you had things for me to do.
And oh, we had such fun
Through all the walks of life,
The good times and the sad.
From school days to our senior age,
You're the best friend I ever had.
God has taken you home,
You and I had to part.
I miss you and I love you,
Forever Dona, you will live within my heart?

I do miss her so 😥!!
