Beth Denning (Rogers) (1967)

Diane was a great friend growing up. As younger parents, we shared times at our Childrens ballgames while Tommy and Jerry coached. Trips with the kids were memorable. Working at BES and other community things will not be forgotten. She would be so proud of her children and grandchildren that she loved dearly. I miss her...childhood friends and relationships developed in our school are never forgotten! Thank goodness for our reunions!

Diane and I grew up in the same general area (Birdtown) as it was called in early times and even now.  She lived at the junction of what is now Birdtown Road (old mail route 3) and Highway 50 North...adjacent to Mr. Leonard Honeycutt's store.  I lived 3/4 mile down a then dirt road (now paved) and now called Birdtown Road.  We attended the same church together (Pleasant Hill Christian Church).  She was a nice girl with a friendly pleasant personality.  In 1969 I left the area for military service so I do not recall seeing Diane again.  Since we do not know the number of days we have until God calls us home, building memories becomes all the more important.
