While the rest of us could easily maneuver around in high school, I recall Annie Ruth had an extra challenge in her life. She walked with the use of arm brace type walking sticks, and always had a look of determination on her face. For us without knowing it, she provided one of life's greatest lessons...never give up and keep going forward. The rest of us are all the better for her gallant example each and every day at school. Although I did not know her that well, she provided so many good memories for those that knew her well. So Annie Ruth, we thank you for the memories of our early youth and the part you played in our lives.
