I was very sad by the sudden death of Mary Lynn. She was a great friend and classmate. I still think of her today.

Mary Lynn was not only my 1st cousin but also a good friend. We were mascots in the Class of 1957. What a great person with a big heart. She is truely missed.

Few people in my life have died whom I miss more than I do Mary Lynn. I have thought of her at all of the important times in my life. She was a bundle of joy and one of the most loyal friends I ever had. I think of her as a spirited, devoted cheerleader, a loyal, committed Methodist, and a very real Christian, especially involved in a lay witness mission we had in Benson a little before her death. We all walked around saying "God Loves You and I Love You." We meant it then and now. That inscription is on Mary Lynn's grave, and if she could be with at this reunion, I'm quite sure she would remind us of that. And, I'm positive we would be blessed with that one-of-a-kind smile. We are all so fortunate to have had her in our lives.

Mary Lynn was such a good girl. Her death was so tragic.
She sat behind me in Mrs. Vernelson's English class and I'll always remember the day she died, she asked me to draw a sketch of her. I've felt guilty over the years for not realizing that she had something serious bothering her. I could have made a difference, if I had only been more aware. She and Martha were best friends and you know I became a best friend also.
I knew Mary Lynn through family connections early on. Her Dad had the feed mill and our families were connected through marriage. We played together as children. We also raced go-carts at Blane Stewart's go-cart track. Robbie would pick us up on Sun. afternoons to go race. One Sun.Mary Lynn and I were in a heated race and I was not about to let a girl out run me . I lost control of my cart in the curve, ran off the track and scattered everyone there with exception to my brother, Terry. Broke his leg in 3 places. Mary Lynn won the race.
Mary Lynn and Martha sang in the choir and did many duets. We were all involved with the Lay witness missions during that time and grew really close. Mary Lynn had a very positive impact on my life.
