Deborah Lynn Price
{8/6/1954 ~ 3/22/2019}

Ms. Deborah Lynn Price of 200 George Street in Four Oaks departed this life on Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home being 64 years of age. She was born in Cumberland County on August 6, 1954 to the late Cecil Whitfield Price and Ann Haseltine Upchurch Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Mark Whitfield Price.

Deborah was raised in Four Oaks where she chose to spend the remainder of her life. She loved the area and being out in the country. She worked many years until she wasn't able anymore. She held an LPN license and worked many years at Johnston Memorial Hospital before that she worked as seamstress at the Champion Company. She loved tending to her flowers and gardens while taking in the beautiful scenes of nature. Among the things that she loved most in this life, her family was at the top of the list. She loved spending time with them. Growing up, Deborah's children can recall their mother making them clothes and clothes for their dolls, she had even made them Barbie furniture as she had worked at a company that produced it earlier in life as well. She was very gifted with crafting and making things with her hands. She had lived a life that wasn't always easy; she faced many sicknesses and adversities but she still greeted each day of life with a smile and never lost her ability to be kind to another. She would have given the very shirt on her back to someone who needed it. She was an uplifting, courageous, funny, one of a kind mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed.

Left behind to cherish her memory are: Three Daughters: Tonya Garcia of Dunn, Amber Messer of Four Oaks and Ashley Messer of Four Oaks; She also leaves behind eight grandchildren.
