Mr. Bostic was a great history teacher, but he also was responsible for teaching many of the youth of Benson to swim. He taught me to swim and also held life saving classes. But best of all, was his gentle spirit. We all loved him. Betsy Smith

He was a great man in so many ways. During N.Y.-D.C. Senior trip, he caught me bypassing a tour in favor of a much needed nap at the back of the tour bus. Gave me a spirited talkin' to, a light kick in the behind and I was back on tour. He was my Uncle and my second Father. Miss him a lot!!

Mr. Bostic...  I have only good memories of him and his teaching.  Does anyone else remember him saying that history was HIS STORY?  As we see folks rewriting history, Mr. Bostic's wisdom has been born out.  Would that I could have known him outside of class...
