Linda Lee Massengill

Billy and I have been married for 52 years and have always lived in Benson or Harnett County. We are active members of Benson Baptist Church. I enjoy gardening, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a member of several women's organizations.
All three of our children live within ten miles of our home. They are all graduates of Campbell University. Our son William lives with his family in Benson. William is married to Elaine and they have two children. He is the chief operating officer of Wake Health Services and the Mayor of Benson. Our daughter Sandra is married to Jeffrey Jones and they live in Buies Creek with her three children. Sandra has been a school teacher in Harnett County for 19 years. Our daughter Gail lives in Dunn. She and her husband Con Adams have one daughter. Gail taught school in Harnett County for ten years before becoming a real estate broker. We are typical grandparents keeping up with ballgames, school functions and other activities our grandchildren are involved in.
