School Story:
I have so many wonderful memories. Two years of kindergarten with Ms. Hazel Sorrell (the best) what a wonderful teacher. Does anyone remember the Mickey Mouse club, it was a program we put on at the Benson High School Aud. I was Jill and Raeford Beasley was Jack, what fun. Starting 1st grade with Ms. Hyatt, the train ride to Dunn. One of my favorite teacher's was Ms. Ruth McLamb, she was a great teacher and introduced us to many different things, always shared many goodies with her class. If she baked a cake she will would bring it to class for us. I loved Ms. Mabel Woodall, but she kept me and Dee Sorrell in the hall, paddling our hand with a ruler, could you image that today! Ms. Carol Parker what a wonderful teacher, Ms. Francis Henderson could always bring out the best in you always made you work extra hard. I left after the 7th grade and graduated from Hope Mills High School, but I will always cherish the wonderful memories and those wonderful teachers that truly cared about you as a individual student and took the time to let you know they cared.
